I have served as an instructor and teaching assistant for undergraduate courses at Penn State since beginning my graduate studies in Fall 2011. I believe that a liberal arts education should foster critical thinking, research, and writing skills. My courses are therefore structured such that my students should be able to reason logically and statistically, to differentiate causation from correlation, and to communicate complex ideas in speech and writing. You can view my teaching philosophy here.
Below is a summary of my teaching experience, and a summary of student evaluations can be found here. In several of the courses, I provide a sample syllabus and course materials. Please email me if you have any questions or if you are interested in adapting any of my materials for your own courses!
